Some of our fantastic Couch to 5K group will be heading to the Houghton Hall Parkrun on Saturday, 23rd November, to take part and complete their graduation 5K run! It’s truly remarkable—just nine weeks ago, many of them doubted they could ever run 5K, and now they’ve become real runners! Members of the CSC committee will be there to cheer them on around the course, with an extra loud cheer saved for when they cross the finish line. There will also be medals awarded to everyone in the group who completes the run.

We’d love for you to join us! Whether you’re running or simply there to show your support, your presence will make the day even more special for our graduates. We’ll be gathering at 8:45 (just look out for the CSC flag) with the run starting promptly at 9:00.

If you’d like your Parkrun time to be officially recorded, please make sure you’ve registered on the Parkrun website ahead of time and bring your unique Parkrun barcode to scan at the finish line.

While you’re there, don’t miss a visit to the foyer of the park’s visitor centre, where CSC member Christina Lawrence will have a Christmas Craft Stall selling a lovely selection of crafts and gifts.
