After the disappointment of being forced to postpone the October Quiz Night due to the electrical issues that the Memorial Hall were having at the time, we are very pleased to announce that the CSC Fun Quiz Night will now be held on Saturday 20 April 2024.
Anyone who purchased a ticket for the postponed October quiz can either have their ticket rolled over to the new date in April next year or request a full refund. If we do not hear from you, we will assume your ticket is to be rolled over to the new date in April. If you would like a refund, please let us know ASAP and we will transfer the ticket money back to you – if you paid by bank transfer, please advise your bank details so we can make transfer back to your account, if you paid online, the refund will go back to your original payment card.
You can expect the usual fun and games throughout the evening. There will be questions across a range of subjects to suit all ages and abilities, with a £100 cash prize for the winners at the end of the night. Along with the usual rounds of quiz questions some of the rounds also have a visual or audio element up on the big screen to keep it interesting, with the music and theme tunes always very popular. There will also be a table round where you can score bonus points along with spot prizes throughout the evening, and our unique spin on the classic Heads or Tails game, reimagined as ‘True or False.’ Although it is great to win, the emphasis on these nights is very much about having fun, no matter where you finish.
Tickets are available now and priced at £12 for CSC Members, £12 for juniors (under 16), and £15 for non-members/guests. The ticket price includes an excellent freshly cooked fish & chip supper (other options available). There will be a licensed bar selling real ale, prosecco, beer, wine, etc. as well as non-alcoholic drinks.
Tickets can be purchased online, or by using the order form and emailing the completed form to chalgravesportsclub@gmail.com, or by contacting Debbie Levy on 07931 408697, or by speaking to any member of the CSC committee. To avoid disappointment, we advise securing your tickets ASAP as the event is likely to sell out ahead of time again.
It promises to be a fun and entertaining evening for all the family. Teams can be from 1 to 8 people, but if you are on your own/couple, and would prefer to be part of a bigger team, let us know and we can match you up with others on the evening.
