The 1st January saw group of local people start the ‘Mile A Day’ challenge with a walk around Wingfield.

The challenge was the idea of local runners and CSC members Mike Jackson and Christina Lawrence and requires everyone who participates to walk or run a dedicated mile every day, for a year! There are currently over 40 people from the parish who have joined the challenge, with a celebratory night out planned on 31 December for all those that successfully manage to complete the challenge.
