New Goal Net Gifted to Village Hall for Community Use

Chalgrave Sports Club are delighted to have donated a brand-new football goal net to Chalgrave Memorial Hall, helping to bring a much-loved local facility back to life.

The idea came from a CSC member who noticed that the recently repainted goalpost at the Hall had been without a net for some time. CSC were more than happy to get behind the suggestion and provide the missing piece so local children can get back to enjoying kickabouts, scoring goals, and showing off their best goal celebrations.

The official handover took place during the recent Village Games, where CSC Chairman Phil Parry, along with committee members Simon and Debbie, presented the net to John Wojdyla, joint Chair of Chalgrave Memorial Hall. The Hall committee will be arranging for the net to be installed soon.
