CSC would like to recognise and congratulate an elite group of local runners and walkers that have successfully completed the CSC Mile a Day 1000 Challenge.
◆ Run or Walk a Dedicated Mile ◆ Every Day Without Fail ◆ For 1000 Days ◆
MAD 1000 requires you to run or walk a minimum of 1 mile a day – you have to go out and do the mile (or more) through a dedicated workout – you can’t count general walking around during the day at home or at work, doing the shopping or gardening etc. You have to do this for 1000 consecutive days, without missing a single day. This means going out in all weathers, no matter what you are doing or where you are, regardless of how tired you feel, and not stopping because of illness or injury – every single day without fail! For anyone that has taken part in one of the clubs yearly ‘Mile a Day’ challenges will know just how hard this is.
